MapleStory Jump! Part II - The Awakened Spells

For the ease of reading , I had separated MapleStory JUMP! and 8th anniversary post into 2 different posts.
Anyway, this post (JUMP!) will be updated and that post(8th anniversary) too. 

(1st Job Advancement)Magician
- Energy Bolt has been buffed up to 30% which is 310% now.
- Magic Claw can attack up to 3 monsters now.

(2nd Job Advancement) The Basic of Fire/Poison Wizard
 
-(NEW)High Wisdom - Increases your INT by 40 at mastered level (Lv10) PERMANENTLY.
- Fire arrow has increased damages itself by 40% which is 360% now.
Master level of Slow has been decreased from 20 to 10.

- Poison Breath deals 280% damage onto 6 monsters now.
New animations are used.

(3rd Job advancement) Advanced Fire/Poison Magic
- Magic Composition has been removed.
- Partial Resistance has been removed.
 Extreme Magic (Fire/Poison) , Buffs the duration of damage over time(DoT) for 10 seconds more  and inflicts 20% bonus damage when monsters are suffered from DoT (Max level)
NEW - There will be a 20% bonus in damage when you inflict on either a stunned / in darkness / paralysed or frozen monster.
 
- Fire Demon has been shifted to 3rd job and unable to make monsters vulnerable to fire now. It deals 6 monsters with 540% damage.

(4th job Advancement) Highest level of Fire/Poison Magic
-(NEW)  Arcane Aim - Ignores a certain % of the monster’s defense permanently and increases the damage when attacking a monster continuously.
At master level, Arcane Aim can ignore 20% of the monster’s defense. If you attack one monster more than 3 times, there is a 30% chance that your damage gets increased by 8%.
The increase in damage can stack up to 5 times.
NEW- The chance of getting 8% damage bonus has been increased by 20% which is 50% now

(NEW) Mist Eruption -By exploding the hovering Poison mists , deals a lot of damages and increases the DoT of Poison Mist.
At master level, Mist Eruption erupts with 900% damage 3 times while ignoring 50% of the monster’s defense. Explosion damage increases by 50% as DoT stacks. Up to six mists can be exploded. Cooldown: 10 seconds.

UPDATED-Mist Eruption has been nerfed from 900% to 720% but it can attack 4 monsters now



-  Big Bang now attacks up to 10 monsters 5times with 110% DoT for 10 seconds.
The new Big bang animations for Fire/Poison Mage has been changed to red in colour.

 




- A stance effect has been added to Infinity. The increase in magic attack has been decreased from 10% to 5%.
- An elemental resistance increase of 40% has been added permanently to Ifrit.
- Paralyze now attacks up to 8 monsters 3 times 257% damage and 1 second of 140% damage over time.
The skill effect has also been renewed.
UPDATED-Paralyze has its range fixed
[Changed - Hitbox (300% --> 350%)]

 
- Master Magic is now an active skill, you can choose whether want to activate the 50% buff duration bonus or not by double-clicking it anytime.



(2nd Job Advancement) Ice/Lightning Basic
 
-(NEW)High Wisdom - Increases your INT by 40 at mastered level (Lv10) PERMANENTLY.
-Master level of Slow has been decreased from 20 to 10.
- Cold Beam deals 140% and attacks 3 times now.
- Damage of Thunder Bolt has been increased by 15% which is 105% now.

(3rd Job advancement) Advanced Ice/Lightning Magic
Magic Composition has been removed.
Partial Resistance has been removed.
(NEW)  Extreme Magic (Ice/Lightning) – Increase in damage when attacking stunned, frozen, in darkness monsters. There is also a probability to instant kill a monster when your HP is below a certain amount of %.
Extreme Magic increases your damage by 20% when attacking stunned, frozen, in darkness monsters. When your HP is below 30%, there is a 15% chance to instant kill a monster at maxed Level.
UPDATED-
You can have 20% damage bonus when you attack monsters which are suffering from DoT / paralyzed.

Ice Demon has been shifted to 3rd job.  It grants 90% DoT and the DoT lasts for 10 seconds
The ability of making monsters vulnerable to ice has been removed.

(4th job Advancement) Highest class of Ice/Lightning Maigc

The new Big bang animations for Ice/Lightning Mage has been changed to icy blue in colour.





(NEW)  Glacial Chain - Use your cold chain to draw monsters towards you and freezing them.
At master level, Glacial Chain can attack up to 8 monsters with 570% damage and freeze monsters for 5 seconds long.  Glacial Chain also gives 10 seconds of 90% damage over time with a time interval of 1 second.
UPDATED-Damage of Glacial Chain has been decreased from 570% to 450%. Glacial Chain can now attack 4 times, ignore 50% of the monster’s defense and attack up to 12 monsters but it will be cooled down for 5 seconds

- A stance effect has been added to Infinity. The increase in magic attack has been decreased from 10% to 5%.
UPDATED-Infinity can now increase your magic attack by 10% and the possibility without getting knockback has been buffed to 50%
- An elemental resistance increase of 40% has been added permanently to Elquines.
- Chain Lightning
 now attacks up to 5 monsters 4 times 214% damage. There is a 90% chance to stun for 4 seconds long. An increase of 20% critical rate has been added. And the damage penalty for multiple monsters has been removed.
Master Magic has been changed. To get the 50% increase in buff durations, you now need to press the skill to toggle it on or off.
- Mana Reflection has been removed.

(2nd Job advancement) Holy Basics
 
-(NEW)High Wisdom - Increases your INT by 40 at mastered level (Lv10) PERMANENTLY.
- Heal is only Level 20 now. HP recovery has been increased from 200% to 300%. Damage to undead monsters has been increased from 250% to 350%.
- Invincible now decreases both physical and magic damage by 20%.
- Damage of Holy Arrow has been increased from 380% to 390%. Holy Arrow can now attack up to 3 monsters.

 (3rd Job Advancement) The Advanced Holy Magic
- Element Resistance has been removed.
- New skill has been added:  Holy Magic Shell - For a period of time, create a magic shield for your party member that absorbs damage.
At master level, Holy Magic Shell can create a magic shield for 20 seconds long which can absorb damage up to 10 times. Cooldown: 90 seconds.

UPDATED-Holy Magic Shell can recover your HP by 100% now, it lasts for 30 seconds now
In simple words- Free godmode (Lawls)
 
UPDATED-Summon Dragon has been replaced by Spell Booster
- Holy Focus affects all skills now.
UPDATED-Holy Focus has been nerfed in critical rate by 10% which is 40% now while it has 70% Mastery in Magic now
It has a pre-requiement of Lv20 Spell Mastery now  


- Holy Symbol now gives the maximum effect when you’re alone. Skill duration has been increased from 120 to 180 seconds. MP cost has been increased from 80 to 300 MP.
- Shining Ray now attacks up to 6 monsters 3 times 200% damage. The casting speed has increased and the skill effect has been renewed.


-Doom is Lv10 now. The consumption of 1 Magic Rock per usage has been removed and a cool down has been added.
The success rate has been increased from 30% to 90% and a monster now stays 15 seconds transformed instead of 10 seconds.
(4th Job Advancement) Highest Level of Holy Magic.

- New skill has been added:  Advanced Bless - For a period of time, bless your party members with attack, magic, physical defense, magic defense, accuracy, avoidability, HP and MP.
At master level, Advanced Bless gives +25 weapon attack and magic, +500 physical and magic defense,
+320 accuracy and avoidability and +700 HP and MP for 240 seconds.
UPDATED-Advanced Bless can decrease 25% of all party members' MP cost in usage of skills.
 
-  Big Bang can now attack up to 10 monsters  5 times and an increase of 15% critical rate has been added.
UPDATED-Big bang has its damage nerfed by 15% which is 290% now
- An elemental resistance increase of 40% has been added permanently to Bahamut.
- A stance effect has been added to Infinity. The increase in magic attack has been decreased from 10% to 5%.
UPDATED-Infinity can now increase your magic attack by 10% and the possibility without getting knockback has been buffed to 50%
- Cooldown time of Resurrection has been decreased from 30 to 10 minutes.
- The amount of monsters Angel Ray can attack has been increased from 3 to 4.
UPDATED-(in extraction language)
Angel Ray hits 6 monsters with 450% damage by 2 times now , the range has been increased
Changed - range (350 --> 400)
Changed - damage (900 --> 450)
New - attackCount (2)
Changed - mobCount (4 --> 5)
New animations are available !


 
Master Magic has been changed. To get the 50% increase in buff durations, you now need to press the skill to toggle it on or off.
- Holy Shield has been removed.
- Mana Reflection has been removed.

Flame Wizard (Knights of Cygnus) 
- The amount of monsters Magic Claw can attack has been increased from 2 to 3.
- Damage of Fire Pillar has been increased from 325% to 350%.
- New skill has been added:  Magic Critical  - Increases the success rate of critical attack and critical rate permanently.
At master level, Magic Critical permanently increases minimum critical damage by 25% and chance of critical attack by 30%
- An elemental resistance increase of 30% has been added permanently to Ifrit.
- Fire Strike now attacks up to 6 monsters 3 times 210% damage.
- Element Resistance  has been removed.

Evan (Legendary Hero) 
- Damage of Magic Missile has been increased from 130% to 145%.
- Skill duration of Magic Shield has been increased from 20 to 60 seconds. Cooldown time has been increased from 40 to 90 seconds.
- Damage of Dragon Sparking has been increased from 150% to 200%
- The minimum required MP from Dragon Fury has been decreased from 50% to 30% MP and the extra magic attack buff has been increased from 20 to 25%.
- Bonus damage of Ghost Lettering has been increased from 15% to 25%.
- Illusion now ignores 15% of the monster’s defense.
- Blaze now ignores 20% of the monster’s defense.

2) The Magicians ' Supplies
You'll receive 3 supply boxes from Maple Admin. Opening them at Level  8 ,18 and 23 and receive full sets of equipments at that Level range!
Note : Weapons are excluded




3)2nd Job advancement gifts!

You'll receive a special EXP buff from Maple Admin. It will be an USE item so you could use it anytime.

It grants you 1.5x EXP for an hour and a Magician 's one handed weapon or two-handed weapon Magic Attack 60% scroll will be given randomly.
Upon succession, your weapon will gain 3INT and 3 Magic Attack.

4) 3rd Job Advancement reward!
Maple Admin will talk to you and ask you to pick either a Secret Mastery Book or ONE Mastery Book from Magicians ' 4th job skills (Only mastery books for certain skills are available, excluding Genesis,Blizzard and Meteor Shower)

5)The best of the best 4th job Congratulations!
For every 5 levels you have achieved since Lv120, a Magician's Star buff and Magician's One hand magic attack 60% OR Warrior's Two hand weapon attack 60% will be given.

IMPORTANT : For the 4th and 5th Event, the Magicians who appeared and passed the levels of before this event could join too. That means you can receive free Mastery book even you have an Arch Mage before MapleStory Jump! patch.

  1. Wait will 120+ mages get the ring automatically or will we have to create another mage (not that it really matters lol, how long does level 8 take rofl)
    On spadows blog it said only 10% bonus from extreme magic. Also, I dont understand how infinty works now, before it was 10% every 6 seconds for 60 seconds (with Buff Mastery).

  2. The old mages will not get the ring, only the new one will

    well dude, just xfer it to your old mages and that's all Lawls

    For infinity, it buffs your Magic ATT by certain % and gives out stance effect
